Sources and calculations
RiftBench tracks daily US English Riftbound prices in USD and prices sourced decklists against those benchmarks.
Card prices and history
- Daily benchmark
- TCGplayer market price for one exact printing, observed through TCGCSV. Each price has its own observation date. It is a marketplace metric, not an individual sale or a live listing.
- 7-day and 30-day change
- The difference between the two observed endpoints. A missing endpoint makes the comparison unavailable.
- History gaps
- A missing observation breaks the chart line. RiftBench does not estimate a price for that day.
- Same-basket index
- Compares only printings priced on both endpoint days. The all-time total also includes newly priced printings and is labelled as coverage growth.
Deck costs and your collection
The full bill uses the cheapest eligible printing of each card and includes every posted rune and sideboard copy. Copies of the same functional card count together.
To complete subtracts your owned copies, using each copy once. Unpriced copies remain visible beside the known subtotal. The median cost is the middle full bill among fully priced lists.
The common-cards view averages quantities across lists, including zero when a list omits a card. Its average cost excludes runes, so it differs from a full deck bill.
Decklist sources
Best Of uses Riot's official postings and clearly labelled permission-backed snapshots. Tournament standings come from TopDeck.gg; top-3 postings also come from riftbound.one. Each event links to its source and states which lists were posted.
Metagame rankings exclude official Best Of postings, which are selected lists rather than a field sample. Event counts, source filters and exclusions are available beside the rankings.
What the benchmark leaves out
Condition, language differences, stock, seller choice, shipping and tax can change what you pay. Check the exact printing and current marketplace listing before a transaction. Graded cards and markets outside US English TCGplayer are outside this price dataset.
A tournament result and a price move occurring together do not establish a cause. RiftBench reports observations and does not recommend purchases.
